Happiness

Our trip to Los Angeles was a blast. We stayed at Brandi and John's and lounged around for a week, it was fabulous. While the boys went rock climbing, wake boarding and mountain biking, us girls went to our favorite LA haunt, the Grove, hung out with Owen, and just enjoyed sister time. I miss them all already!

Spring

Recently when people ask me what we've been up to, I can never think of anything, and the generic response has become "nothing really," hence the lack of posting. But looking back at some pictures of mine and some that my wonderful sister-in-law took, I realized we Hansens do do stuff...and this is what it is...
Fixing cars (so handy having a handyman in the fam)
Surfing...Classic (Doug and Christian)
Thanks Steph for the photos!
Mountain Biking....Strike a pose there's nothing to it!
Doug and Chris mountain biking
Weekending it with the Girls in SF
Love these ladies
And smiling from all the goodies (opening our easter baskets from in-laws)

Great seats at the Giants game thanks to the Fields!

And our favorite recent activity, sleepovers with Rochelle

Pie anyone?

Last night I was awoken in the middle of the night by yet again a sleep talking Doug saying "hey, hey, heeeeey!" When I finally turned around and asked him "what?" He sleepily held out his hands as a plate and asked "do you want a piece of pie?" and then went back to sleep as quickly as it happened. I, however, lied there laughing to myself thinking: amongst the many sword fighting, gun slinging, and spider squishing dreams of Doug's that have woken me up in the middle of the night...it was really nice to wake up to sweet sleep talking Doug for once.

Eastern Caribbean Cruise

We just came back from a 5 day cruise to the Eastern Caribbean. After getting my passport last minute we were finally ready for my first trip out of the country! We went to Grand Turk, Nassau Bahamas (and supposed to go to Half Moon Cay but it was cancelled due to bad weather). It was so much fun, the islands were beautiful, the boat was a blast and our friends were great. It all culminated in an all too short of a vacation!

Our wonderful windowless cabin - we could seriously sleep all day (wish we could black out our room like this)
Doug rubbing lotion and aloe on his sunburn from the first day - at least I could say "I told you so!"

Doug's loot from winning 'Diving for Dollars' -he found $62 and won $100. Hey we made money on this cruise!! $162!
