Last week, my brother, Gable came out to visit Doug and I in Hawaii for his Spring Break. It was an action packed week. He got in on Friday, and we took most of that day to relax, eat, get Hawaii necessities (snorkel, air mattress, groceries, fishing wire, etc.). Saturday morning we went snorkeling, and then took the afternoon to go surfing, My brother has been once in Santa Cruz, and I have never been, so to say the least, it was an entertaining afternoon for Doug to teach us. Sunday morning we left at 5 am to make it at the Shark Dive by 5:30. Gable really enjoyed that, and we are still waiting on our underwater camera pictures for that and surfing. Later that afternoon we went hiking at Maunawili Falls, which is like hiking through a jungle to end up at waterfall with multiple different cliffs to jump off of. Monday we went on another, easier waterfall hike in Waimea Valley, and finished the day at the beach Waimea, where Doug and Gable jumped off the Waimea rock. Tuesday morning, Doug and Gable went surfing and spear fishing, took a boys day away from me. And finally on Wednesday, we finished off the vacation with another full day of surfing, since that was Gabe's number 1 objective for his vacation. Anyways, we all had a blast and took lots of pictures to document all of the fun times.
