D.C. Pics

The second Sunday we got here, Doug and I went with our friends Rob and Jessie to go site-seeing in D.C. After getting on the wrong metro train, we finally stepped off into our nation's capitol to find that it was pouring down rain, and didn't calm down anytime soon. So we dashed into the National Air and Space Museum and watched an IMAX on Jet fighter pilots - guys choice, but it was really cool. We then bought ponchos and umbrellas and made our way to the Museum of natural history. The rain didn't stop us. We had a blast and even ended the day running through the metro stop up and down the stairs to try to catch our train home so we didn't have to wait another 20 minutes. Jessie and I were running after the boys laughing and yelling that there was no way we were going to make it...and we didn't. It just proves yet again, that patience truly is a virtue. But really it added to the hilarity of the entire day.
