Last sunday, our only free day, Doug and I ventured off to Gatorland with our friends Grant and Brittany. It turned out to be a nasty 102 degrees and we were dripping with sweat, but tried kept ourselves cool standing infront of the giant misting fans and carrying around a large lemonade. We caught 3 different shows, close encounters (where doug got to hold a giant python), gator wrestling (where we got to sit on the alligator afterward and hold its mouth - ofcourse it was taped shut), and a jumping show where the alligators jumped out to grab their food. While all those shows were fun, I think the best part of the day came from the laughs we got from the simple things...Feeding the emus, goats, and other birds from our hands, or in Grants case his mouth, and throwing hot dog bits as hard as we can at the sides of the alligator mouths. It was a hot fun day with friends, snakes, birds and best of all lots and lots of gators.

Cute! It looks like so much fun~wish we could have come along!
wasn't that fun? so how about we do something this sunday too....?? and if you ever need the harry potter audio books...... i mean you could even listen to them while you are at work.... just a thought ;)
